We are very proud of our Childcare program. Our staff is qualified and committed to providing an atmosphere that is sensitive to the children’s needs. Teachers interact warmly, responsively, and respectfully with children and provide opportunities to develop independence and a sense of belonging.

Children learn by doing. Play is the work of young children. By teaching the how to learn, it helps the become independent, self-confident, and inquisitive learners.
We are concerned with the child’s strong relationship with his/her family. We encourage parents to visit the center during the day and to participate in any activities, field trips, or meal times whenever possible.
Health & Safety
“Nourishment” takes on many meanings at the center. While the daily class schedule feeds your child’s eager mind, our nutritious breakfast, lunch and snack satisfy his/her rapidly growing body. At Coddington Learning Center, we believe in the importance of regular nourishment. Your child receives a minimum of three nutritious meals and/or snacks each day. All of our food is purchased from Sysco, Sam’s and grocery stores. Menus are posted in the front entry way of the center and at coddingonlearningcenter.org.
Food Allergies or Special Dietary Needs:
All arrangements for special dietary needs must be discussed with the Director prior to enrollment to determine if your child’s needs can be accommodated.
Accidents and Injuries:
Safety is our number one priority. However, as children begin to explore their developing abilities, accident sometimes happen. We take precautions to prevent childhood accidents. Our staff is trained to be watchful and take precautions to prevent accidents and injuries. Children receive instructions on safe play and they are guided away from hazardous behavior. Although safeguards are in place, accidents and injuries are still possible. Should your child have an accident or suffer a minor injury while at the center we will administer basic first aid and you will be notified with and accident report upon arrival as well as a message via our parent communication app. If you child needs non-emergency medical care, we will call you promptly so you can arrange for them to be seen by a doctor. In the event of an emergency, we will call 911 and then notify you.
All Staff Members are CPR and First Aid Certified
